Pay Rate and Work Schedules • Employment starts in August and runs through late-October (or later depending on the season/weather). We are looking to hire staff with 4 hours (or more) of availability during the week and full time on weekends (2 weekends/month). • Starting pay is $10/hour. • You MUST be available to work weekends (including Holidays). • We are willing to work around class schedules if you have the availability to work shifts between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are looking for College of Agriculture students who have some previous experience on a farm or operating farm equipment. Having a CDL is preferred but not required. Hill Farms Looking for part-time fall harvest help on corn and soybean operation. Hill Farms is located 25 miles north of Ames off I35. We run late model John Deere equipment with GPS guidance and offer a strong wage to those with good row crop farming skills/trucking skills. CDL is preferred, but not required. Duties would include hauling and loading manure, tillage, running grain cart, mowing, and trucking for those with their CDL.
