What you like most about your job/position:

At Elanco, we have a signature question we ask one another “What is your why?”  Meaning, why do you want to get up and do what you do every day?  Both of my roles, as a student and as an intern, align with my “why” which is, to be a part of a greater cause than myself by ensuring safe, wholesome food globally by aiding in animal health.  This is what I like most about my role.

What advice would you give to current students:

--Network, network, and network with new people and stay connected with people within your area of interests.  Knowing the correct people can lead to amplified success in your career path.
--Find yourself.  It may seem simple, but finding yourself will allow you to truly know you and realize what you are most passionate about.
--Work hard.  Don’t be afraid to get a little dirt on your boots, and put your nose to the ground because it makes the end goal all that more rewarding.
