  • At the Nevada, IA location, VERBIO plans to produce biomethane (renewable natural gas) from baled crop residues and ethanol from corn. The plant is currently under construction and began biomethane production in third quarter 2021. Occurring in the 3rd quarter of 2022 there will be an expansion of the biomethane process as the ethanol facilities are being retrofitted and will be brought online.
