Service Learning Program in Uganda, Africa.  While participating in the program I traveled to Uganda for six weeks and had to opportunity to provide clean water to individuals within their communities.

Major Job/Position Responsibilities
My major job responsibilities are managing Union Pacific’s small to medium customer accounts, identifying customer needs, developing creative business development solutions, and negotiating price.

What you like most about your job/position?
Learning the specific business markets that drive the United States economy, as well as, understanding the history of the American railroads. 

What advice would you give to current students pursuing a career in Agriculture and Life Sciences?
Get involved in organizations within and outside of Iowa State University.  I would also, encourage students to study abroad and to participate in internships when the opportunity is available.  Having a strong resume will open many doors.
