Major Job & Responsibilities: Work directly with site leadership to ensure compliance with local, state, federal government safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, NFPA, EPA, etc.). Identify corrective actions using past/current injury data in order to eliminate systemic safety issues. Conduct injury investigations to prevent reoccurrence. Author/conduct safety training to ensure our employees are well equipped with the knowledge necessary to work safely in their perspective areas/environments.

What do I like most about my job/position?  The opportunity to help others succeed in the workplace and return home the same way they came (safely).

What advice would you give to current students pursuing a career in Agriculture and Life Sciences?  Network Network Network!!  It will open doors that just having a degree will not. Make sure that you gain some real life experience (such as an internship) in the career that you would like to have.
