Describe your internship responsibilities:

As a Research and Development intern, I worked with food scientists on flavor development with sausage.  I also worked on a meat texture analysis project.


What did you enjoy most about this internship?

I really enjoyed the family atmosphere of Johnsonville and the amount of trust they had in me to complete my projects.


How has this experience impacted your future career plans?

This internship has helped me to realize that I want to pursue flavor development with meat in the Food Science industry.


What resources did you utilize to obtain this internship?

I have gone to the career fair every year I have been at school and it has greatly helped.


What advice would you offer to other students seeking similar internships?

Always attend the career fairs and always ask as many questions as you can at them.
